New Lenox Community Park District

The New Lenox Community Park District was established in 1966 to provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities for the residents of New Lenox. The district operates and maintains eight parks, including a nature center, and offers a variety of programs and activities for people of all ages.

The New Lenox Community Park District is a self-supporting organization that relies on user fees and donations to cover its operating costs. The district does not receive any funding from the Village of New Lenox or Illinois.

The park district's mission is "to provide quality parks and recreational opportunities that foster healthy lifestyles, positive relationships, and community spirit." To achieve this mission, the district offers a variety of programs and activities, including sports leagues, fitness classes, concerts, and special events.

The park district also operates and maintains eight parks, including a nature center. These parks offer a variety of amenities, such as playgrounds, picnic areas, sports fields, and nature trails.

The New Lenox Community Park District is a great resource for residents of all ages. If you're looking for a place to get active and have fun, the park district is a great place to start.
